Netizens have uncovered a curious pattern among idols debuting under SM Entertainment after SHINee.
On January 20th, a netizen made a post spotting an interesting fact among SM Entertainment idol groups. The original poster introduced that 59 idols debuted following SHINee's debut in 2008, including f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, and RIIZE. But out of the 59 idols introduced to the industry, not a single one shares a December birthdate.
Netizens chimed in the comments expressing their interest in finding out SM Entertainment has had no idol that has a December birthday for 16 years since SHINee. Further, they also pointed out that NCT's Jungwoo is the only idol that was born in 1998 among all SM Entertainment artists.
Meanwhile, SHINee's Onew and Minho were born in December.
