BTS's Jungkook has claimed the #1 spot in top first-week album sales for any K-Pop solo artist in Hanteo Chart history.
The idol's 1st solo album 'Golden', originally released on November 3 EST/KST, officially wrapped up its first-week sales count on November 9 EST/KST at 2,438,483 copies. The album has now surpassed fellow BTS member V's 'Layover' (2,101,9xx copies in first-week sales) as the best-selling album by a K-Pop solo artist ever in first-week sales, as of November 10 KST.
Meanwhile, earlier on the evening of November 9 EST, Jungkook delivered a surprise performance on the TSX Stage in Times Square, New York City, an innovative stage located inside a massive, 18,000 square foot billboard.
