MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa who was previously accused of public obscenity during a live performance, has been officially cleared of any wrongdoing. The Seoul Seongdong Police Station made the announcement on October 4 KST, stating their decision in favor of the singer.
The accusations had been lodged by the Student and Parents Human Rights Protection Coalition (Student Union) which claimed Hwa Sa's performance at a university function was obscene. The police, having summoned the accuser for an interrogation session, thoroughly investigated the circumstances surrounding the performance and subsequently refuted the claims by citing related legal precedents. In explaining their decision, the police stated, “Based on a broad and comprehensive evaluation of the available evidence, it is difficult to sustain the initial criminal charges.”
Hwa Sa was originally indicted by the Student Association in May. The center of the controversy was her performance at a festival held at Sungkyunkwan University, recorded for the tvN show 'Dancing Queens on the Road'.

She did take it a little far, I don't think it amounts to criminal charges though. She should take this as a warning and chill out a bit, especially at a university performance.
