Fans of IVE's Leeseo express concern over alleged harassment at school

AKP STAFF

Fans of IVE's Leeseo are expressing concern over the alleged harassment she's experiencing at school.

Leeseo officially became a high school student at the prestigious Hanlim Arts High School this past March, and despite IVE's busy promotions, she's still attending classes as regularly as possible. A recent clip of the IVE member is catching attention as it highlights how idol stars are allegedly treated differently than their peers.

One netizen posted, "Even though she's promoting with IVE, she came to school. She napped a little during class, but she signed autographs for every person who asked. She's such an angel." Many fans are upset that Leeseo is allegedly being harassed for autographs while at school though she's there as a student.

Another Korean netizen claimed Leeseo was facing sexual harassment as a clip shows a male student who asked for an autograph with what looks to be an erection. In the post below, a netizen writes, "Please protect Leeseo, who experienced sexual harassment from a classmate at Hanlim Arts High School." A post on a Korean forum also refers to the classmate's alleged erection.

Is a young boy who gets a little excited while next to a pretty girl considered sexual harassment? Seems like he's trying to hide it. I don't think it was intentional and if anything probably want-to-disappear embarrassing for him to be called out like this.

God, I feel sorry for that poor boy, it probably wasn't intentional, sometimes it just 'happens', now everyone knows what happened, he probably wants to drop through the floor and disappear with embarrassment.

.

What made someone think it was ok to publicise something like that? Is it even legal to publish a vid or photo of a minor in that state?

.

I mean, I also feel for her, having everyone want her autograph, but that's going to come with fame and success, at least she's not being bullied over it - which is what's happened to many child stars who went back to school in the UK. She seems to be ok with it, no need for her fans to be so defensive, they should be pleased for her.
