CRAVITY's Seongmin to take hiatus due to mother's health issues

CRAVITY's Seongmin is taking a hiatus due to family matters.

On October 11, Starship Entertainment announced to fans Seongmin will be taking a hiatus due to his mother's illness. The label stated, "We'd like to inform you about the hiatus of CRAVITY member Seongmin's activiites. Seongmin's mother is about to undergo a major surgery due to illness."

Starship also confirmed CRAVITY will continue on as 8 members without Seongmin for the time being. The label explained, "We decided after sufficient discussion with the CRAVITY members and Seongmin that it's best for Seongmin to stay by his mother's side for the time being. Activities after today's announcement will be carried out by 8 members, excluding Seongmin."
