BTS Jungkook's 'Seven' is now the first song by a male artist in 2023 to hit #1 on Melon's daily chart

BTS Jungkook's "Seven" feat. Latto (Clean ver.) has officially hit #1 on Melon's daily song chart as of August 30 KST!

Initially released on July 14, the BTS member's English-language single has hit #1 on the daily chart exactly 48 days after its release. Furthermore, as of August 30, "Seven" feat. Latto is the only song by a male artist in 2023, both solo and/or group, to top the daily chart on Melon.

Meanwhile, soon after its release, Jungkook's "Seven" feat. Latto rose to the top of Melon's 'Top 100' chart just 11-hours later. A handful of other K-Pop artists who have achieved #1 on the daily songs chart include: NewJeans, IVE, aespa, and (G)I-DLE.
