Some netizens are strongly against the launch of a 'Boys Planet' byproduct group, sending a protest truck outside the CJ ENM building

Previously, it was rumored that Wake One Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment have decided to team up to launch a 'Boys Planet' byproduct group, with its members comprised of Wake One trainees Park Han Bin, Lee Jung Hyun, Moon Jung Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo, and Yuehua Entertainment trainees Yoo Seung Eon and Ji Yoon Seo. It was also said that the labels are open to negotiations with other agencies for potential additions to the byproduct team.

However, it seems that some netizens are against these plans. A group of fans have recently sent a protest truck outside the CJ ENM office reading, "Who is this byproduct group for? Do not use the trainees. Call off this group that no one wants, not even the fans," and "A group that blocks the bright futures of trainees? Call it off. A project group with no guaranteed success? Shut it down."

Many onlookers are now debating whether or not the idea of a byproduct "project group" is in fact "helpful" or "detrimental" to the futures of these 'Boys Planet' trainees.

Some said,

"Why are they so against it? If trainees don't debut, there are high chances that they have to wait a long time for another chance, and even then, they might just be disposed of if the company doesn't have plans to launch a new group. Giving them a chance to promote even for a short while is worth it."
"I don't understand their reasoning. There's no guarantee that a byproduct group will succeed? Well there's no guarantee that they might succeed even if they debut in a fixed group at their respective agencies..."
"Aren't these trainees waiting for the ZB1 members to return before they debut in a fixed group? If that's the case, then why not promote in another project group while they're waiting? Why are they against that?"
"Who the heck are they to tell the trainees what to do..."
"Uhh... since when do fans control what a company does with its trainees."
"How is a byproduct group hurting the trainees? They can gain experience and maybe even make earnings. That sounds like a good deal to me."

Meanwhile, others argued,

"Wake One is already managing ZB1 and Kepler, so another byproduct group might be too much for them to handle. The byproduct group might get secondhand treatment."
"I'm also against those other trainees debuting with Park Han Bin. He has a bad history."
"Both Yuehua and Wake One had trainee groups that were pretty much complete, so to have them suddenly combine a few of them like this?? It's confusing for the fans. What about the other Yuehua trainees who weren't included here?"
"It's true that there's really no telling whether a project group like this might make a significant impact. In terms of gaining popularity or drawing in profit. It could just be a waste of resources."
"I'm against a project group too. I want the Wake One trainees to debut in a fixed group with some of the hidden trainees they have."

This is so stupid. Everyone that was on Boys Planet deserves to debut. Winner or not. ZB1 is doing really good, I doubt they would outshine them. But at least give them a chance.
