Former Gugudan member Kang Mina is leaving Jellyfish Entertainment.
According to reports on June 15 KST, Mina left her longtime agency Jellyfish Entertainment to sign with Story J Company, which is home to actors like Kim Tae Hee, Seo In Guk, and Oh Yeon Seo. The Gugudan member made her debut with IOI in 2016 before joining Jellyfish Entertainment girl group Gugudan later that same year.
With the reports of her joining Story J Company, many are expecting Mina to focus on her acting activities. However, Story J responded that they've met with the idol-actor, but nothing has been confirmed.
Jellyfish also stated, "Kang Mina's exclusive contract with us expires at the end of June. Both sides mutually decided there would be no contract renewal."
