Fantagio is taking legal action on behalf of late ASTRO member Moonbin.
On June 16, Fantagio followed up a letter by Moonbin's mother, asking netizens to stop spreading false rumors about her son. The label stated legal action was already in process against posts spreading false and malicious rumors.
Fantagio announced, "We initially planned to proceed quietly, but because there are many fans who are worried about our artist, we decided to make a brief statement to inform you. We've recently become aware of severely malicious posts going too far, and we decided to no longer sit by. Therefore, we're already in the process of taking legal action."
The label continued that they plan to take legal action without leniency in the future as well.
