Mnet confirms season 2 of 'Street Woman Fighter' set to air this summer

Mnet has confirmed the second season of 'Street Woman Fighter.'


According to SPOTV News, the new season of the legendary dance series will premiere this coming August. After deliberating whether a new 'Street Dance' program would become the series' second season, the channel seems to have concluded that the show will indeed be 'Street Woman Fighter 2.'

Returning in 2 years since season 1, the show will once again be in a survival format in order to find the "best women street dance crew in South Korea." Just as season 1, season 2 will feature many talented and charming women dancers that will raise the viewers' anticipation even more.

The production of 'Street Woman Fighter 2' is currently underway.

I hope the leaders of SWF1 will somehow be involved, even if it's just a cameo. I doubt SWF2 can re-capture the frenzy that SWF1 created, but I'd like for them to get as close as they can considering dancers are often overlooked compared to singers, rappers, actors, etc.
