E'LAST cancel Atlanta stop of North American tour due to inappropriate venue, leaving fans upset and worried

AKP STAFF

On May 18, boy group E'LAST was scheduled for the Atlanta stop of their "Thrill North America Tour," which many fans had been looking forward to for months.

Unfortunately, due to mismanagement and poor conditions of the concert venue, the concert had to be canceled, and it was not done so till after the concert was supposed to have started.

Fans who were at the venue reported that there was poor management of the entire concert, the venue was highly inappropriate as it was a wedding venue with a make-shift stage which would pose potential risks, and the members of E'LAST were also visibly upset, which worried fans and broke their hearts.

Meanwhile, E'LAST's agency, E Entertainment, also released a statement shortly after, apologizing and announcing that fans could request for a refund through the tour's agency, MC Entertainment. The full statement reads:

"Hello, this is E Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that 'THRILL NORTH AMERICA TOUR in ATLANTA', which was scheduled to take place today, has been canceled due to the difficulty of the performance.

Please understand that the artist was willing to proceed with the performance, but our company inevitably canceled the performance in consideration of risks that could occur during the performance.

We would like to thank and ask for the understanding of the fans who waited and participated until the end.

Our company and the artist have done our best to fulfil as much of the event for those who purchased tickets to repay the love of the fans who have waited as much as they could.

If you would like a refund, please request a refund through MC Entertainment.

Thank you."

What do you think of this situation?

Not gonna lie. When I saw "Atlanta" + "inappropriate venue," my first thought was, No they didn't book them in a strip club 🫣

Holy cow, look at the size of the stage, and it's one of those temporary segmented ones (without the edges being visibly marked as well, to add to the fun)...what on earth were the tour planners thinking? There is no way a group of dancers could perform safely on that. They'd be better off deconstructing it and performing on the floor.

.

The fact that people were at the venue waiting before it got cancelled is absolutely disgraceful, it really is.
