KOZ Entertainment, a label under HYBE led by singer Zico, will launch a new boy group in May.

Industry expectations for the 'Zico Boy Group' are high. According to officials, they were rumored to be a group with excellent skills and visuals early on.

KOZ Entertainment's rookie group has special meaning in that it is the first boy group produced by Zico. Zico, who debuted with the group Block B, went through idol life and worked as a solo singer and producer with numerous hit songs. In particular, Zico is also the one who made "Any Song" a success in 2021 and started the dance challenge culture in the Korean music industry.

In an earlier interview, Zico expressed confidence in the rookie group, saying, “We will become a group that presents music that both the fandom and the public will like.” 

HYBE has already taken the upper hand in the 4th generation boy group market with the success of TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN, and last year, it successfully established a multi-label system for 4th generation girl groups, including LE SSERAFIM and New Jeans.

In particular, the year 2023 is expected to be fiercer than ever for boy groups. KOZ Entertainment's boy group is attracting attention as it will be the first boy group debuting this year by one of Kpop's Big 4 agencies.
