MAMAMOO maknae HwaSa has dropped hints about her upcoming solo album, and the excitement from fans is skyrocketing.
On February 18, 2023, KST, during her closing set at the MIK FESTIVAL 2023 in Paris, HwaSa stated that "Maria" was going to be the last song she is going to perform for her set at the festival and promised that she was going to come back with a new album next time.

This sent the entire moomoo fandom into excitement, as any member of MAMAMOO mentioning a single or album, typically means that there is a timeframe set, part if not all of the album is done, and the MV is likely left to film. This, coupled with MAMAMOO company's label mates Purple Kiss having a recent comeback, is all of the more news that fans are suspicious in regards to a solo or group comeback from one or all of the MAMAMOO members being announced soon.
As is usually the case, any member of the group or the group as a whole makes a comeback shortly after the main promotional period of a labelmate has ended. Thus, since Purple Kiss will be entering their second week of promotions for "Cabin Fever," many speculate that a MAMAMOO group or solo new music release will be announced soon.
