K-media reports about #Jin joining the "Captain Korea" line of celebrities who led trainees in the military

The news of Jin becoming the commander of his training unit, winning a talent show (after training the participating team) and later being assigned to the prestigious position of training assistant. Jin demonstrated outstanding behavior as a soldier of the Korean army. He participated in the difficult training and got excellent marks. During the graduation ceremony, everyone was able to witness Jin commanding the entire unit with his loud voice while looking handsome as ever.

After that, Jin got assigned to his permanent position while serving in the military. He was chosen to be the training assistant, which means Jin will be commanding the trainees that arrive at the camp. Assistant instructors are the very first face that trainees see when they enlist. To become a training assistant, you should have the necessary qualities, such as high marks in various basic military training, a great physique, a loud voice, be able to take a lot responsibility, and have leadership qualities. According to the Military Manpower Administration's Recruitment of Training Center Assistant Criteria, even such factors as high school academic records, as well as attendance records, are reflected in the instructor screening process. The level of education and various martial arts certifications are also considered (Jin has a black belt in taekwondo). There is also physical assessment, such as running 1.5km long distance and push-ups. After that, they have to undergo a "Personality & Aptitude interview." They get to pass the final screening for assistant instructor only after they are comprehensively vetted as to why they are applying and if they know how to respond to unexpected situations that may occur while on duty. They also have to thoroughly memorize everything in the textbook and take written tests. They finally become fully qualified as assistant instructors only after they do and successfully pass training demonstrations in front of a panel of judges consisting of instructors who teach each training subject. Fans say they had no doubt a hardworking perfectionist like Jin would demonstrate exceptional performance even in the military.

There were very few celebrities who were able to become assistant instructors. They get referred to as the "Captain Korea" line because this position is very well respected. K-media wrote an article about Jin also joining the line of "Captain Korea" stars and these days he frequently gets referred to this way in the news titles. It was reported even on the Korean National TV News.

"After completing training on the 18th, Jin will continue his service as an assistant instructor at the 5th Division Recruit Training Battalion. We explored curiosity about the hottest keywords in the entertainment sphere these days.
According to the Army, Jin directly applied for the selection of an assistant trainee and was selected as the final one after achieving excellent grades in the ceremony, command adjustment evaluation, and an interview.

On the other hand, through the global fan community, Jin revealed a picture of him wearing a military uniform and directly conveyed his current situation.
In the published photos, he showed off his dignified appearance as a Korean soldier with a well-angled posture and a warm visual that could not be hidden even with a mask, attracting lots of attention.

While Jin joined the 'star assistant' line, the 'Captain Korea' stars who charismatically led the trainees earlier also got back into the spotlight."

At the time of his enlistment, Hyun Bin, who became a hot topic by passing the physical examination in the top 5% of the Marine Corps, also served as an assistant instructor in the Marine Corps.

Yoo Seung-ho showed tears as memories from the military passed by like a kaleidoscope when he was discharged. "When the new recruits whispered, "This is Yoo Seung-ho," I gave them more energy because I didn't want to be recognized only as an actor."

Stars who were teaching assistants set an example in the military with extraordinary diligence comparable to their lives in the entertainment industry. Looking forward to seeing which other stars will join the majestic lineup of "Captains Korea" in the future!
"

Even while in the military, Jin remains a very hot topic on social media. A post about his team winning the talent show in the military got around 100k likes on Twitter in just a single day.

I can only laugh at the comments. People hating on BTS bc they wanted them to go into the military. Now that one (just one!) is in the military and is excelling they’re mad again bc they didn’t want that to happen either. And the people shocked that there are still articles covering a world renowned star, like did you think Jin and by extension, BTS would just disappear? Please stop living life on hard mode and just accept that people like these guys, articles are going to cover them, and they are not going away. Like honestly, what did you really expect to happen? People were comparing the group to Elvis going into the military- this level of stardom is going to just shine brighter during and after this. Matter as well accept it and move on.
