”With You” achieves 180 Million streams on Spotify and was the only OST by a BTS member on TIDAL's ‘K-pop: Best of 2022’

Jimin's dive into the world of Korean OSTs started with "With You," a sweet tune sung with his best friend Ha Sungwoon, and now it's achieving great milestones in less than a year.

On the 5th of December, the global music streaming service TIDAL published the 100 K-pop songs that were popular among fans and the public on the K-pop: Best of 2022 list.

This included recently released K-pop hits, and fans of Jimin were elated to see "With You" among them. “With You” was included and was the only OST by a BTS member on the list. Earlier this year, the track was featured on TIDAL's ‘K-Pop: Best of 2022 So Far’ showcasing its grand popularity.

In June, Genius Korea community ranked “With You” 3rd on the Best K-pop OST So far, making it the highest-ranked OST from ‘Our Blues’ as well as by a BTS member. Subsequently, on the 6th of December, Genius Korea through their year-end charts review listed "With You" 3rd among the Top K-pop OST songs this year. “With You” has been used as BGM on many Korean reality shows and was covered by idols like Mari from the rookie group WITCHES, showcasing its popularity at home.

Following the release of this year's Spotify Wrapped, users received comprehensive reports on their streaming patterns all year. “With You” was revealed to be the 10th on the Top K-pop tracks of 2022. This meant it was the most streamed Korean OST of the year and the most streamed song by K-pop soloists. Berry, one of the composers of the song from the (Rocoberry) duo, shared this achievement proudly on his Instagram stories on the 8th. With one song, Jimin ranked 7th among the most streamed Korean soloists and was the fastest Korean soloist to have 3 million followers on Spotify.

“With You” was released almost as a surprise, with only 10 hours and 4 days for its first tracking week on charts. Despite the many setbacks, the song remains the fastest-streamed Korean OST of 2022 on Spotify, with 180 Million streams in 230 days and 10 hours, an incredible feat considering it was released only in April. The song's MV is also the most streamed K-OST on YouTube this year, with over 32 Million views. On Melón, it has 200K less to reach 45 Million streams and has amassed 411K discoveries on Shazam.

Jimin's other solo songs are also shining, with “Filter” ranked #36 on the top K-pop songs of the year and was the only 2020 solo song and B-side song on the chart in its 3rd year. On the 5th, the song surpassed 340 Million streams on Spotify, breaking the record for the Fastest Korean B-side and un-promoted Korean solo song ever to achieve the feat on the platform. Among the songs to recently hit milestones are “Friends,” with 188 Million streams, and “Serendipity Full Length Edition,” with 223 Million streams on Spotify.

Congratulations, Jimin and Sungwoon!
