Netizens joked they are "worried" BTS's Jungkook might end up enlisting in the Marine Corps for his mandatory military service.

On October 18 KST, one netizen took to a popular online community forum and created a post titled, "No, but what if BTS's Jungkook [tries to enlist] in mandatory military service and...". The netizen continued, "You're not going to apply to the Marine Corps or anything like that, right? Like SHINee's Minho? Jeon Jungkook is super passionate about things that involve using his body and is a kid that likes things like this...Loll."

Jungkook is known for being one of the more muscular, strong members of BTS who loves to exercise. Jungkook is often called by certain nicknames such as "Geun-yook Tokki" (Korean for "muscle bunny"),"Geun-yook Dwe-ji" (Korean for "muscle pig"),and "Golden Maknae", as he easily gains muscle and is good at everything, which also includes exercising. With earlier reports stating that the BTS members will begin enlisting in order, starting from the eldest member Jin, netizens joked that they are worried Jungkook might apply to enlist in the Marine Corps for his mandatory military service, which is known to be one of the most difficult branch to serve in.
