For the past few weeks, Jin has been topping the most-viewed news articles in Korea. 

His conversations with Chris Martin became an inspiration for them to write a song. There was a draft of a melody created by one of the most talented people in the music industry: Max Martin (a producer, who works with Britney Spears, Adele, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Katty Perry, John Lennon, Paul McCartney), Kygo (a Norwegian producer, who worked with Coldplay, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, U2, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Rita Ora, The Chainsmokers, Johann Johannsson (the Golden Globe Award-winning, Grammys and Oscar-nominated composer), Bill Rahko (a Grammy-winning producer, who worked with Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Elton John, Justin Biber). The entire band of Coldplay participated in the recording, including his son Moses!

The solo single by Jin titled 'The Astronaut' will be out on October 28. The same day, Jin will be joining Coldplay on stage in Buenos Aires to perform his solo track together with the band in front of the 76,000+ people in the audience. More than that, the concert will be live-streamed in 3,500+ cinemas around the entire world!

The other news related to Jin is about him being the special guest of Lee Youngji's popular show on Youtube called 'No prepare.' It was released on October 21, and the viewership count has already surpassed 7,2 million. It is already the most-liked episode in the history of 'No Prepare.' The host of the show, rapper Lee Youngji, even posted about it in her Instagram stories. The episode turned out to be super hilarious, cute, and wholesome. Jin got drunk, played games, and was joking around, but also shared some vulnerable feelings. 

These two topics created a huge fuss on the Korean side. For days, #TheAstronaut is trending in the Top 2 of South Korean trends (with 2 million tweets), while more and more tags related to Jin are joining it every day. The most popular Korean forums were filled with posts about Jin attending the show, and all of which gained large numbers of views in just a few hours. People praise Jin's lovely and interesting personality, handsomeness, and humor. 

Meanwhile, Jin took over the main web portal in South Korea - Naver. For three days straight, Jin is trending at the very top of Naver's most-viewed articles. The reports about him doing a song with Coldplay and being the special guest at their Argentina concert have crossed 140k views. 

The article about Jin's attendance at the Youngji's show surpassed 110k views in mere hours and trended #2 on Naver's main page. 

Korea is excited to hear Jin's new single, 'The Astronaut.' Korea's TV channels KBS and MBC made special reports about the artist releasing a song written together with Coldplay soon.

YT Entertainment Issue uploaded a graph of the real-time ranking of entertainment industry topics that were getting attention on October 21. At one moment, Jin's graph flies right to the top and continues running ahead of every other topic. The entire Top3 consists of topics related to Jin: BTS and 'No Prepare.'
