On October 22, solo artist Kang Daniel officially kicked off the overseas portion of his 'First Parade' tour in Manila, Philippines, at the New Frontier Theatre.

Decked out in a high-fashion glittery suit, Kang Daniel made his grand entrance on the stage with his overflowing stage presence, kicking off the setlist with his dynamic performance of "Flash," the first track off of his third mini-album 'Magenta.' As soon as Kang Daniel stepped in, the venue drew loud cheers from the crowd.

Next on his setlist was "Parade," singing that the show is Kang Daniel's parade, which definitely is. It was just the second song off of the list, and the party had just started.

He opened the talk segment by relaying his feelings on finally being able to meet DANITYs, "I'm very happy to have this concert with you." Kang Daniel then apologized as he had a sore throat and caught a cold. "Three years ago, I debuted. I have experienced many challenges," he said. "For a long time, I had to do a concert alone."

Next songs on his setlist include "Don't Tell (feat. Jessi)," "Waves," "TOUCHIN'," and "Jealous," in a green shirt that had No. 12 in it, delivering his feel-good live vocal skills, as well as exerting great moves along with his backup dancers.

"I feel very good because I can do my concert with you and your warm greetings," Kang Daniel commented. "I was thinking if I wanted to do a concert here in Manila, I'm thinking of something that we could do together." The idol added, "I also thought of what you will expect at my concert including our conversation. When you go home after watching the concert, you will go home like, 'Wow! Kang Daniel's concert was so great!'," he said.

"2U," "Upside Down," his latest single, "How We Live," "Misunderstood," and "Loser" were the songs he performed next.

After his exemplary performances, Kang Daniel participated in a 'Balance Game,' wherein he needed to choose among two options that will be flashed on the screen. The first question was, "If this situation occurs at the same time, what would be the first to fix? Computer shutdown vs cellphone crash," Kang Daniel chose the former, saying, "I cannot live without a computer."

Next, he was asked to pick between a day where he only eats his favorite foods and a day where he can sleep as much as he wants; the singer chose the latter, "Sleeping is the best thing for me." 

When asked where he wants to go if he can do time travel, Kang Daniel shared he would rather go to the future than travel to the past, "There might be someone who will be hurt if I go back to the past. I don't wanna hurt anyone else, so I'd just rather go to the future." This particular question Kang Daniel said, was the hardest among the ten questions. "If I go back to being 15, can I endure it all back then?" said Kang Daniel, adding that we should just enjoy the present day.

If he wins the lottery, Kang Daniel said that he would rather tell his family and friends about it than not tell anyone since he has trust in them. For the question, "What is more intolerable, banning food delivery for one year vs. banning playing games for one year?" Kang Daniel answered that he can't live without playing games.

Kang Daniel asked his fans which song they would like to see him perform live; most fans then screamed "Paranoia," "Antidote," and "Who U Are." Kang Daniel chimed in, "'Who U Are' is hard to perform."

Finally, Kang Daniel performed the fan-favorite tracks "Paranoia" and "Antidote." With "Paranoia"'s thudding beat mixed with Kang Daniel's silky vocals, the idol delivered an excellent performance on stage.

He also shared something about watching Spongebob when he was a kid, "I guess I was very pure when I was a kid. I was watching Spongebob on my cellphone until the age of 17." He added, "To be honest, I'm still watching it often these days."

For the last songs, Kang Daniel performed "Save U," "1000x," "Moment," and "Adulthood." The singer invited his dancers with him on stage and let them introduce themselves in front of the crowd before waving goodbye. 

"I heard that you guys get comfort and energy from my songs. Thank you so much," said Kang Daniel. "I've lived my life the best way I can. Looking back, I realized that DANITYs recognized my efforts more than I did." He added, "Even for a moment of time, it could relieve your stress. I was so happy as well."
