On August 9, fans around the world celebrated the 3rd anniversary of 'Winter Bear,' a song that was born from V's personal participation. Through this song, he demonstrated his abilities as a singer-songwriter, actor, and director, and he gained favorable reviews from critics.

'Winter Bear' is a song that showcases Taehyung's warm sensibility and deep, soulful voice that is in harmony with the acoustic guitar melody. It features English lyrics and a retro-inspired music video that matches the song’s nostalgic feel. His love for film and photography are remarkable signatures of the song and music video. 

To commemorate the occasion, Taehyung's fanbases from across the globe have graciously contributed to non-profitable organizations in their countries.

Canadian fanbase 'BTS V Canada' donated to 'BGC Canada,' which helps children and young people return to school after the pandemic. Vietnamese fanbase 'BTS V VIETNAM' donated gifts, including blankets and clothes, to poor orphans in Taehyung's name.

Paraguayan fanbase 'KTH Paraguay' donated to 'National Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Center,' which treats 200 children, while Spanish fanbase 'BTS V Spain' donated to 'Polar Bears International,' a wild polar bear conservation organization.

Nepalese fanbase 'KTH Nepal' donated to 'APCA NEPAL,' an animal welfare & rescue center under Taehyung’s name, while the fan account 'Nataliya' donated to 'CEREBRA,' which helps families of children with brain disease through sleep counseling services and research.

Apart from the generous donations, V's global fanbase 'BTS V UNION' and Korean fanbase 'V INSIDE' organized outdoor screen advertisements opposite the HYBE building and on the subway at Hapjeong Station.  The Bolivian fanbase 'V BTS Bolivia' and fan account 'Matsuko' posted social media and TV commercial ads.
