BLACKPINK has broken a slew of records after their long-awaited comeback!
On August 22, YouTube confirmed that BLACKPINK's "PINK VENOM" debuted with 90.4 million views in the first 24 hours, thus becoming the most-viewed debut music video of 2022 on the platform beating BTS's "Yet to Come," (48.9 million views in the first 24 hours).
BLACKPINK becomes the first and only female group in YouTube history to reach 90 million views in the first 24 hours.
"PINK VENOM" has just surpassed the group's own hits, such as How You Like That (86.3 million) and Ice Cream (79 million); thus, BLACKPINK occupies the entire TOP 3 of most-viewed videos in the first 24 hours by any female artist in YouTube history.
