BTS's Kim Taehyung surpasses 500 million streams on Spotify before having an official solo album release

Kim Taehyung, aka V, has now surpassed over 500 million accumulated streams under his own profile on Spotify, one of the largest streaming sites in the world.
Taehyung achieved this before releasing his solo debut album and with just three K-drama OSTs credited to his name, namely "Christmas Tree," "Sweet Night," and "It's Definitely You."
He also currently holds the record of the only Korean soloist to have 3 OSTs surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify.
Taehyung's most recent OST "Christmas Tree" also became the highest-charting solo song by a Korean male idol on the Circle Chart, formerly known as Gaon Chart, ranking at #58 for the first half of 2022.
