BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, was chosen by Generation Z as the #1 male celebrity whose image they want to recreate as a Virtual Model in Metaverse. 

In a new survey, SMART Uniform, a famous uniform brand in South Korea, assessed the "Top 10 Fashion Trends" among Generation Z teenagers to form a consensus. For two weeks, they were surveyed about clothing trends they follow, shopping sites they use, and celebrities they admire. 

Generation Z, or Gen Z for short, colloquially known as Zoomers, refers to the generation that was born between 1997-2012, succeeding the Millennials and preceding Generation Alpha.

When asked which male celebrity image they'd prefer when creating a virtual model in the metaverse, Z-generation participants ranked:

1. V (BTS) (28.4% votes) 
2. Cha EunWoo (Astro) (20.8% votes) 
3. Jimin (BTS) (10.9% votes) 
4. GDragon (BigBang) (9.2% votes)
5. Minhyun (NU'EST) (8.5% votes)

Metaverse is "an integrated network of 3D virtual worlds" and a bridge between virtual space and reality. Taehyung has risen to be a popular choice as a Virtual Model in Metaverse among the general public.

Months ago, Noh Jung-hyeong, CEO of Lotte Information and Communications at the IT division of LOTTE Corporation, also shared the same belief. 

He named Taehyung as a prime example of a representative model that will appeal to all genders and audiences of all ages. 

To help South Korea achieve success during the Metaverse Era, CEO Noh Jun-hyeong cited Taehyung's global impact, "If BTS V is used as an avatar, we will be able to achieve success both at home and abroad.”
