BTS's new album, ' Proof,' is already available on all platforms. However, CD3, consisting of unreleased demo tracks, was published only through the physical album version.

Every member added their unreleased demo songs to the CD3 tracklist. One of those songs became the hottest topic on social media. It is the long-awaited 'Epiphany Demo' by Jin!

'Epiphany Demo' debuted at the top of the K-pop Genius Korea chart surpassing all of the 'Proof' songs. It indicates that many people liked this solo song a lot. 

Four years ago, in 2018, Jin shared the story behind his legendary solo song 'Epiphany.' It turned out that Jin's original version was changed right before the recording day. 'Epiphany' became one of the most groundbreaking songs in BTS's entire discography and gained many achievements. However, fans still had the desire to hear the original version.

"The original melody I made is more gloomy melody but lyric is hopeful. It had bright and relaxed melody with lyrics telling 'I love you'. But after we made comparison with Bang PD's melody, his was more fit to the lyric and vibe of the song so we chose it. Working on my solo song 'Epiphany', I've written a lot of melodies. Until 3 days before recording the song, it was confirmed my melody was going to be used, but then Bang PD wrote me a really good melody so it changed to his. I think I put in lot of things I wanted to do. I just told the company details of what music I want to do, and company just organized it for me. Now company tries to reflect our opinions a lot, that part really got better compared previous days."

In December 2021, Jin surprised everyone with a post on Weverse, that included a photo of him working on the old version of 'Epiphany.' The vocalist titled his photo 'The old version of 'Epiphany.' It's a whole different song!'. Of course, everyone's hearts have lighted up with the hope of hearing 'Epiphany (Jin's Version)' one day!

And when the CD3 tracklist of 'Proof' was announced, 'Epiphany Demo" sky-rocketed to the top of Worldwide trends. Jin is known for releasing only the highest quality solo songs in the matter of vocals and songwriting. Hence, the interest in a new song by him was huge! Users of popular Korean forums even said that they will buy the album just to hear Jin's new song.

As expected from Jin, the song turned out to be heavenly and beautiful. The soulful voice, singing about complicated feelings while masterfully playing with notes, envelops the heart of a listener. Jin's discography replenished with one more song that only he can sing.

'Epiphany Demo' by Jin quickly became the most talked-about solo song from CD3. All videos with it on Twitter got the most engagement. Thousands of users are tweeting about being astonished by Jin's powerful voice and musical talent. So many people were curious about checking out Jin's demo that it got the most views and comments among 'Proof' audios on YouTube!

'Epiphany Demo' became the only solo demo to be trending on Twitter for two days straight, while the other songs trended only for a couple of hours. It is the only song from the 'Proof' album that is still trending.
