According to an exclusive media outlet report on June 17, BLACKPINK's Jennie is in talks to make an appearance on the HBO series 'The Idol', created by The Weeknd, Sam Levinson, and Reza Fahim.

'The Idol' is described as a series following "a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A. club owner turned secret cult leader". The Weeknd stars in the series as himself, joined by co-stars Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, and more.

According to sources, Jennie is expected to appear as a cameo or a small character in the series. Last year, the BLACKPINK member was spotted dining with The Weeknd, sparking collaboration rumors.

Meanwhile, filming for 'The Idol' is currently under way in Los Angeles, California.

The BP members have to secure their future. They won't be idols forever, this is already fading away with such long hiatuses idk how only the ads keep them stay relevant but ofc they need different opportunities to continue after the kpop life.
