Taeil unable to perform at NCT 127's 'Neo City: The Link' show in Nagoya after testing positive for COVID-19

AKP STAFF

On May 18, NCT 127 announced via the group's official Japanese website that member Taeil has tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, the idol will not be performing during NCT 127's 'Neo City: The Link' show in Nagoya, set to take place on May 22 at the Vantelin Dome. Taeil is currently asymptomatic, but he will remain in isolation for the time being per health authorities' guidelines, for the safety of those around him.

The remaining 8 members of NCT 127 have all tested negative for COVID-19, and will perform during 'Neo City: The Link' on May 22 as scheduled.

Meanwhile, NCT 127's ongoing Japan tour 'Neo City: The Link' is scheduled to take place in Tokyo from May 28-29, and in Osaka from June 25-26.

I wonder if NCTzens are thinking what I'm thinking, why there are no comments under this piece. Yes, I'm angry after seeing video of the guys being trampled in the airport. And yes I'm blaming them for Taeil's positive test since up to that point he was COVID-free (whether they're the real culprits or not). Each person present should have been taken into custody. F'n Terrorists!

Hope he remains asymptomatic and does not have any adverse health affects.

That's very unfortunate to hear. I hope he rests well and recovers fast. And hope the remaining members don't feel too pressured on covering for him and his lines.
