Jimin's solo career is flying high even without an official solo debut. All his solo songs under BTS' discography, as well as his first self-produced song, have already been showing impressive performance on different local and international music buying and streaming platforms despite being unpromoted B-side tracks, and this trend is continuing till now. Recently two of Jimin's songs have re-entered both the US and Canadian Billboard charts more than two years after their release, while also taking significant strides on the biggest music streaming platform in the world, further proving his power and influence as an individual artist.

On April 4th, data on music sales in the world's biggest music market, the US, showed that Jimin's first-ever self-written, composed, and produced song 'Friends' had recorded a 3,000% increase in sales for that week, which saw it re-enter the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart at #3 for the week dated April 9, 2022, and extended its stay on this chart to 5 weeks in total.

Earlier on, on March 29th, 'Filter' had also re-entered the Billboard Canada Digital Song Sales chart at #50, making it its 3rd week to rank on this chart. This was after 'Filter' had risen to the top of the Canadian iTunes chart on March 19th, making it the 116th #1 for the song on iTunes worldwide as the B-side track with the most #1s in the history of iTunes [read here].

On Spotify, the largest music streaming platform in the world, Jimin's songs are also performing exceptionally well in different regions.

On April 5th, Serendipity (Full Length Edition) was the biggest gainer on Spotify Vietnam, placing at #18, with 'Lie' and 'Filter' also ranking in the top 200 songs on the daily chart.

On April 4th, 'Lie' was the biggest gainer on Spotify Vietnam, climbing up 90 spots to land at #71 on the daily chart. 'Friends,' 'Lie,' and both versions of 'Serendipity' also ranked among the top 200 daily most streamed songs on this day.

On April 3rd, Filter was in the top 5 of the most streamed songs in Vietnam, ranking 4th on the daily chart. Previously, on March 26th, Filter had risen to the top of the daily chart in the country after jumping up 45 spots, its first time to rank first among the Top Daily Songs in Vietnam. 'Friends,' 'Lie,' and both versions of 'Serendipity' were all among the top 200 songs as well.

On this same day, 'Filter' re-entered South Korea's Top 200 Songs at #138, being the biggest gainer of the day.

March 26th had 'Filter' at #34 in Vietnam and #157 in South Korea.

In other news, 'Filter' surpassed 92 million streams on YouTube as of April 5th to extend its record as the most-streamed Korean solo audio track on the platform. 'Serendipity' comeback trailer also surpassed 161 million views while 'Lie' official audio track surpassed 22 million streams on the same platform as of April 6th and April 9th, respectively.

On Spotify, 'Filter' surpassed 273 million streams as of April 9th, extending its record as the most-streamed solo from the MOTS:7 album and the second most-streamed BTS solo song overall. 'Lie' surpassed 169 million streams as of April 8th, continuing to be the most streamed solo song from the 'Wings' album and second most streamed song overall just after the title track. 'Serendipity' (Full Length Edition) surpassed 190 million streams as of April 9th, 'Intro: Serendipity' surpassed 105 million streams as of March 29th, and 'Friends' surpassed 152 million streams as of April 6th.
