Psy's 'Gangnam Style' MV hits 4.4 billion views on YouTube

On April 28 at approximately 9:30 AM KST, Psy's music video for "Gangnam Style", the title track of his sixth full-length album 'Psy 6 (Six Rules) Part 1', earned another impressive achievement as it surpasses 4.4 billion views on YouTube. Released on July 15, 2012, the music video reached the milestone 9 years and 9 months after its release.

"Gangnam Style" remains as the most-viewed music video by a Korean act in YouTube's history.

In other news, Psy will be releasing his 9th studio album 'Psy 9th', which features "That That" as its title track featuring and produced by BTS's Suga, on April 29th.

Gangnam style was the first kpop song I heard(though I did think it was an Indian song when I first heard it lol). Nevertheless, it will remain one of the most iconic songs in kpop forever.
