Lee Sung Kyung is in talks to star in the upcoming Disney+ Korea drama 'Please Say This Is Love' opposite Kim Young Kwang.
On April 21, reports revealed Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang would be playing the leads in the new series. The actress' label YG Entertainment then clarified, "She received an offer, and she's positively reviewing it." Kim Young Kwang was previously revealed to be in talks to join the cast, and his label Wide-S Company has now confirmed the news.
'Please Say This is Love' is a romantic drama following a man and woman who are intent on revenge, but end up feeling sympathetic for one another. If cast, Lee Sung Kyung will be playing the lead role of Shim Woo Joo, who wants to take revenge against Han Dong Jin after her family faces issues. Kim Young Kwang is set to play the role of Han Dong Jin, a lonely workaholic whose life changes when he meets Shim Woo Joo.
'Please Say This is Love' is expected to premiere in the first half of 2023.
