Recently, there has been a fashion trend among young women in South Korea. This trend is causing unexpected items to be sold out in Daiso, an household goods store.

The item that is recently trending in Korea is none other than plastic accessories set for children. The children's toy sets 'Pink accessory set' sold for only 3,000 KRW (2.42 USD), and the 'Princess Necklace Set' sold for 1,000 KRW (0.81 USD) are gaining popularity.

These Daiso goods have been popular since November of last year when actress Han So Hwee was seen wearing these toy accessories at her birthday party. Han So Hwee caught the attention of fans and netizens when it was revealed that the earrings and necklace that the actress wore were from Daiso. According to a Daiso official, the sales of the product doubled in November compared to October.

Additionally, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon also garnered attention when she was seen wearing a similar product on an entertainment program. On April 9, Taeyeon was seen wearing the Daiso toy accessories on tvN's 'Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market.'

Thereafter, women in their 20s and 30s have been taking photos wearing these plastic accessories on their birthdays and posting them on social media. In fact, there are more than 500 posts with the hashtag 'Princess set.' In addition, there are online community posts that give an update on the stock of these toy accessories on the Daiso website because they have been sold out everywhere.
