On March 5th, a post on a popular online community landed on a trending page after listing six trainees who could have been aespa members if they stayed with SM Entertainment. The list includes NMIXX's Sullyoon, Woo!ah!'s Wooyeon and Nana, Lami, Kep1er's Chaehyun, and Koeun. Lami and Koeun were revealed as part of SM Rookies.
Although it has been a while since aespa debuted, it seems netizens are talking about the former SM trainees once again as NMIXX has recently debuted. Some of the comments include:
