This is the moment that fans and everyone has been waiting for- to finally see Jimin release a song outside the BTS discography.

On the 15th of March, fans worldwide woke up to the wonderful news of Jimin's OST releasing soon. In the press report by Ajou Economic Daily, BTS Jimin was mentioned to have joined the lineup of singers for the tvN drama Our Blues Original Soundtrack, which will be available on Netflix. It was also revealed that Jimin had already finished the recording with OST agency YamYam Entertainment confirming the news with: "Since world-class BTS' Jimin will be joining us, we will energize the drama with a masterpiece OST song that harmonizes well with the flow of the story."

Since Jimin is well known for his emotional delivery in songs, the series' synopsis which explores the bitter-sweet experiences of people living life at the end, pinnacle, or start of it, it is expected that his OST will be a fitting masterpiece. The story is depicted in an omnibus style and set against the backdrop of the Jeju island, a place which Jimin recently vacationed at.

"Our Blues" will premiere on the 9th of April and air on tvN. It boasts a studded star cast which includes acts like
Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Hye Ja and Go Doo Shim. The writer Noh Hee Kyung and Director Kim Kyu Tae are renowned in the film industry and have made headlines for their works.

This is Jimin's first OST since he debuted with BTS, and there has been a wave of unbridled anticipation with everyone expressing their joy and excitement over his involvement. Another headlined the NAVER main entertainment page together with many other articles. Harpers Bazaar Korea shared the delightful news citing his impact, writing: "As this is Jimins' first OST since debut, we can look forward to the new influx of passionate music fans into K-drama." YTN News media also showed enthusiasm, saying that his addition completes the best box office combination and that he is expected to present a high-quality song.
