MOMOLAND's Hyebin and Nancy test positive for COVID-19 while promoting in Mexico; to suspend local promotions temporarily

On February 20, MOMOLAND's agency, MLD Entertainment, released a statement announcing the bad news that MOMOLAND members Hyebin and Nancy has tested positive for COVID-19. The two members are said to be currently promoting in Mexico. As a result current schedules scheduled for in Mexico will be temporarily suspended as the members focus on their recovery.

The full statement reads:

"Hello.
This is MLD Entertainment.

MOMOLAND members Hyebin and Nancy, who are currently promoting in Mexico, have been tested positive for COVID-19.
Hyebin and Nancy have completed the 3rd and 2nd vaccinations, but despite so, their PCR tests turned out to be positive.
The planned local schedule (in Mexico) will be temporarily suspended as we first focus on the treatment and recovery of the two artists.
We would like to apologize to the fans for the trouble cause and as well as to all the staff who worked hard for the local promotion.
We will prioritize the recovery of Hyebin and Nancy and take necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by complying with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities.
