BTShave set another major milestone in the K-Pop industry!
On February 28 KST, theRecording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has updated the songs that have reached new milestone this week. The boy group's first full English-language single, "Dynamite," has been certified diamond by RIAJ for earning 500 million streams in less than two years, making it the fastest song to achieve the milestone.
With this, "Dynamite" marks BTS's very first song to achieve the milestone. In addition, the global boy band has become the first foreign act to have at least one song surpassing the mark in RIAJ's history, joining Japanese act Yoasobi as the only acts to achieve the milestone.
Additionally, "Life Goes On" and "Anpanman" have received platinum and gold streaming certifications this week for earning over 100 million and 50 million streams respectively.
