Actress Lee Se Young explains how she gained 8 kg during the filming of 'The Red Sleeve'

Actress Lee Se Young revealed how she gained 8 kg (~17.6 lb) while filming the popular MBC drama 'The Red Sleeve'.

On this week's broadcast of the MBC talk show 'Radio Star,' the cast members of the drama 'The Red Sleeve' made an appearance as special guests. On this day, Lee Se Young revealed how she changed her character's looks from when the character was 18-years old versus the character in her 20s and 30s. Lee Se Young revealed she gained approximately 8 kg.

The actress explained she had easily put on 3 kgs but started losing weight as the weather became hotter and the filming went on. She explained after gaining 3 kg, she lost the weight and returned to her usual weight.

However, she felt she had to display gracefulness as a royal consort, so she decided to gain back the weight. She explained she put forth the effort to gain some weight on her face. Lee Se Young explained she followed Junho's advice and ate two slices of cheesecake every day, trying to increase her weight.

With the film continuing, Lee Se Young explained she continued to eat fried foods such as fried bread with sugar, jam, butter, and sometimes even mayonnaise.

Must be nice to eat 2 cheesecake day… i look at food and gain 2lbs

I know we always talk about how unhealthy it is to be too skinny but eating cheesecake, fried food with sugar, jam, butter and mayonnaise every day isn't healthy either. There is enough healthy food out there that is calorie dense, no need to stuff yourself with junk.
