Recently, BTS's V has been embroiled in dating rumors after being spotted at the VVIP preview event for the 'Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) 2021' opening.
It was then revealed that V was accompanied on this day by the chairman of the board at 'Paradise Group,' Choi Yoon Jung, also the wife of the 'Paradise Group' president Phillip Jeon. The couple's daughter was also seen at the event with V and chairman Choi.
Since then, there was a rumor that BTS's V was dating the daughter of 'Paradise Group' as sleuthing netizens went on to raise speculations that a bracelet V often wears is, in fact, a brand launched by the daughter of Phillip Jeon.
On October 14, a representative of HYBE Labels spoke up in response to recent dating rumors surrounding BTS member V. A representative of HYBE Labels stepped up to clarify, "V and the family of chairman Choi Yoon Jung are only acquaintances, the dating rumors are not true."
In addition, V himself spoke up about the rumors through Weverse and expressed his anger and frustration about the whole situation. He posted on Weverse, "I'm going to shoot poison needles at the back of their necks. Watch the back of your necks. Puk Puk (stabbing sound)," and "So pathetic. I want to sing 'UGH'."
On this day, V posted two posts explaining his frustrations using a reference from the BTS track "UGH."
BTS's track "UGH" was included in their seventh album 'MAP OF THE SOUL:7' and is a rap track that uses wordplay to express anger towards evil and injustice. The song title also has a double meaning as the Korean title "욱" represents the burst of rage or temper in addition to the word "Ugh" used in English to express frustration and annoyance.
