Friends is a song produced, written & composed by Jimin, and performed by Jimin & Taehyung. It has recently drawn much attention after it was confirmed as an OST for the American epic superhero film 'Eternals' by Marvel.

While fans reacted with jubilation to this news, it was further confirmed by Rotten tomatoes critic, Austin Texas film association member, and BTS' fan Kate Espooky that Jimin had full credits for the song in the film. In a series of tweets, Kate, who watched the movie disclosed this information adding that a big part of the song would be played throughout a scene, making Jimin the first Korean idol to be featured in the credits of a Hollywood blockbuster film with a Korean song.

Prior to this revelation, on the 23rd of October, "Friends" was added to Marvel Music's Eternals Spotify playlist. Fans who saw this expressed great pride in their idol, noting that this would give the song a more vast and new audience.

In the wake of these wonderful news, Friends also became Jimin's first production to achieve a RIAJ Silver Certification in Japan on the 24th after having attained over 30 Million cumulative streams. In March 2020 it debuted at #56 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 as the highest-charting B-side from MOTS: 7 Album, it ranked second overall after 'ON' on Line Music Hot 100 Chart as well as charting at #36 on the streaming songs chart.

On Spotify the song has surpassed over 126 Million streams remaining the most-streamed unit song of the MOTS: 7 album. This achievement adds on to it's Song of The Year, 10th Gaon Chart nomination an achievement it has along with Filter.

To celebrate this achievement and milestones for Intro Serendipity (98 Million streams) and Filter (215 Million streams) on Spotify, JIMIN GLOBAL IT BOY and Congratulations Jimin trended at #8 and #15 respectively with #JiminIsTheStandard trending in at #44. JIMIN JIMIN also went on to amass over 500K tweets.
