BTS to launch 'TinyTAN Gim' dried seaweed snacks this coming September + spread K-Food internationally

BTS will be launching 'TinyTAN Gim' (Korean dried seaweed) this coming September.

On August 25 KST, Star Fox Family announced that HYBE Labels and BTS's animated characters 'TinyTAN' recently signed a licensing contract, and will be distributing 'TinyTAN' branded dried seaweed snacks. 'TinyTAN' are animated characters that represent the BTS members' alter ego, and have a worldview concept where they use a magic door to go back and forth from their world to the real world. The designs for the upcoming 'TinyTAN Gim' snacks were completed using images from the 'TinyTAN' characters.

There will be 8 different flavors, including wasabi, fire chicken, mala, kimchi, bulgogi, butter-garlic, cheese, and original. It will be distributed in two different types; dynamite and magic door versions. The dried seaweed snacks will be distributed by the 40-year-old brand 'Sung Kyung Gim'.

Lee Dae Hee, CEO of Star Fox Family, stated, " 'TinyTAN Gim' is a K-food product that combines the traditional dried seaweed and 'TinyTAN', which are both popular all around the world."

'TinyTAN Gim' will be distributed to South Korea, the United States, the UK, Australia, Indonesia, and more, in the month of September.

Yum, the flavors sound good. Hopefully they are good (well except the cheese one - bleh - not sure how that will be). Seaweed sacks have some good nutritional value if they don't Bork it up when they make it with bad ingredients. (More people should consider trying them to bump up things that are lacking in traditional US diets).
