Singer and entertainer Kim Jong Kook has another hit on his hands, his YouTube channel. His channel has shown an amazing growth rate, which has surpassed other existing health YouTubers and even other celebrity YouTubers.

Kim Jong Kook, who opened a YouTube Channel called 'Gym Jong Kook' last month, easily surpassed 1 million subscribers in 2 days. 

As of today, his YouTube channel has gained an impressive 1.41 million subscribers and 17 million views altogether. 

It came as a surprise after knowing that Kim Jong Kook's achievement was achieved less than a month after he opened his channel. Right now, he only has 3 videos uploaded. 

With such an amazing achievement, it's no wonder the Running Man members mentioned it on air. Currently, Haha, Ji Suk Jin, and Yang Se Chan have opened their own YouTube channels. 

The fact that "HaHa PD" and "Jee Seok Jin World" have 720,000 and 390,000 subscribers, respectively, makes it easier to see how successful Kim Jong Kook really is. 

In addition, what makes Kim Jong Kook's achievement even more dazzling, is that it took famous health YouTubers such as Kim Gye Ran from Physical Gallery and ThankYou BuBu about 3-5 years to get to their current number of subscribers.

An entertainment industry official analyzed the rapid growth of Kim Jong Kook's YouTube Channel, saying, "it was effective, because although he's a singer, he didn't use it as a theme. He also didn't use broadcasting as a theme, nor did replicate a web entertainment channel." 

The industry official said, "What the public wants to hear from Kim Jong Kook is not how can he sing so well, but how he made his body through his efforts. There has always been a huge demand for it."

"Kim Jong Kook has answered the biggest questions that the public had whilst using the theme that he was good at and actually liked the most, which is exercise." 

Another official said, "Kim Jong Kook's credibility in the sports and health-related industries is way beyond our imaginations. I know that he was offered several business proposals, but Kim Jong Kook has always repeatedly refused them. He has always been careful when selecting companies related to sports wear and health drinks. All the companies that he selected, from what I know, their company's sales have skyrocketed."

How much profit will Kim Jong Kook make from his channel? 

According to NoxInfluencer, which analyses the popularity rankings and expected revenue of influencers from Instagram and YouTube, the 'Gym Jong Kook' channel is currently ranked 342nd in Korea and 16974th in the world rankings. 

NoxInfluencer has also analyzed that the 'Gym Jong Kook' channel will earn about 9.9 million won in monthly YouTube revenue alone. It is also predicted that the channel will earn about 12.7 million won in affiliate revenue per video.
