Former AA (Double A) member Kimchi has reportedly scammed thousands of people with a fake online shopping mall business.
Recently, an anonymous user posted online claiming that they were one of over a thousand people who have recently been scammed by Kimchi. They asserted that Kimchi, who has been running his own YouTube channel 'Hyanggi TV', provided fake consulting for online shopping malls by pretending to run his own successful business and by falsely claiming that he has helped several shopping malls reach where they are now.
According to media reports, the anonymous user suggested that Kimchi charged his consultees a considerable amount of money and eventually accumulated over hundreds of millions of KRW.
The user wrote: "He provided paid online lectures and consulting by impersonating another shopping mall, a smart store that apparently garners about 1 million won per month. He included the shopping malls that he didn't consult in his lecture slides and promoted himself using a benchmarking method. He not only deceived the shopping mall which he impersonated but also his paying audiences."
Currently, Kimchi has switched all his social media into private or non-existing accounts, including his YouTube channel and Instagram. What do you think of this situation?
