NU'EST's Ren has been selected to star in the musical 'Hedwig.'
According to a June 15 News 1 report, Ren will lead the play as the title role of the musical 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch.'
'Hedwig' is a story of East German transgender singer Hedwig, who wants to live a new life through music after overcoming the painful wounds of the past.
'Hedwig,' which has been loved enough to establish itself as a domestically licensed musical steady seller since its premiere in Korea in 2005, will reopen in about a year after its performance last year.
Ren will return to the stage about a year after taking the title role in last year's musical 'Jamie.'
