Fans donate up to 280 million won (~$250,474 USD) in celebration of Trot singer Lim Young Woong's 30th birthday

Korean Trot singer Lim Young Woong celebrated his 30th birthday (31, in Korean age) on June 16 KST.

Lim Young Woong's fans nationwide contributed to good deeds in celebration of his birthday. Volunteer activities to help out neighborhoods were held in various parts of the country, including Seoul, Daejeon, Gwangju, Busan, and Gangwon. Further, Lim Young Woong's main and largest fan club, 'Age of Heroes', donated around 280 million won in total (about ~$250,474 USD).

The organization 'Lim Hero Supporters' was responsible for running outdoor advertisement as a birthday celebration event for Lim Young Woong. At the COEX Media Tower in Samseong-dong, in 103 different MegaBox Kiosks branches nationwide, and in 38 different Lobby Wide M branches, Lim Young Woong's birthday advertisement will be posted from June 12 through June 18. 

In addition, 'Age of Heroes' organized bus advertisements to run across South Korea. Buses from all over the country, including Seoul, Jeonbuk, Daejeon/Sejong, Gyeonggi, Daegu/Gyeongbuk (Pohang, Gumi), Gangwon, Incheon, and Busan, will post advertisements for Lim Young Woong, in celebration of his birthday.
