Will INFINITE's Sunggyu be leaving Woollim Entertainment?

According to an exclusive Star News report, Sunggyu's contract with Woollim Entertainment will expire in March of this year.

While there are reports at he is still discussing the renewing of his contract with Woollim, there are other reports that he in contact with several other agencies being open to various possibilities.

Sunggyu made his debut with the group INFINITE in 2010 and played a pivotal role as the team's leader and main vocalist. In addition to the group activities, he received a lot of love for his various solo activities. After completing his military service in January last year, he released his mini-album, 'Inside Me,' in December.

INFINITE was the first boy group released by Woollim Entertainment and received a lot of love both in South Korea and overseas. They released various hit songs such as "Be Mine," "BTD," and "BACK." Since then, the group went through two renewals of contract in 2017 and 2019. During this process, member Lee Ho Won left the group in 2017 and the team had to reorganize into a six-member group. Then in 2019, L left the agency.
