Song Joong Ki donates 100 million Won to Hope Bridge to aid medical staff fighting COVID-19

Song Joong Ki has donated 100 million Won ($91,886.85 USD) to Hope Bridge to aid the fight against COVID-19.

On January 7, Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association revealed, "Song Joong Ki donated 100 million Won towards winter protection for medical staff working against COVID-19." The donation will be used to buy heating devices for medical staff working at outdoor screening centers despite the cold weather.

The actor previously donated 100 million Won in February of 2020 for the same cause, and in August of last year, he donated 50 million Won ($45,946.60 USD) to help victims of flooding. 

In other news, Song Joong Ki is starring in the upcoming movie 'Space Sweepers', which is set to premiere on Netflix on February 5.
