On his birthday, BTS V went on Vlive to express his gratitude for the different birthday projects he received. One of the things he thanked fans for, was the donations made under his name.

In America, V's fans celebrated with more than 90 donations to different charities to celebrate the day he was born.

V's American Fanbases Team V and BTS V USA started their birthday project by donating $6,500 worth of toys to 4 American based charities. 

Among other supports, they also donated to a charity that provides art to kids in need, dedicated a grove of 25 trees in New York, donated to BestFriends for dogs and cats, and adopted 3 humpback whales in support of  Whale & Dolphin Conservation.

Fan accounts didn't stay behind, supporting causes like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Operation Smile, Children Hospital of Los Angeles, and UNICEF Guardian Circle.

And in one of the most heartwarming efforts, an American fan of V donated to 77 charities during 25 days inspired by 25 qualities of the BTS member.

Fans around the world came together to raise $58,310 for  LN4 Hand Project, a San Francisco based organization that helps provide prosthetic hands around the world free of charge, a project organized by @OneInAnARMY.

Fans worldwide celebrated V's birthday like a holiday season, helping those in need during Christmas and New Year's festivities.
