Christmas Love by BTS’s Jimin tops SoundCloud’s Global charts and trends worldwide on Youtube with more than 10M views

BTS Jimin took the top spot on SoundCloud’s New and Hot charts in all countries and became the highest-ranking Korean artist on SoundCloud’s Top 50 Most Played tracks in all countries
with his latest solo project “Christmas Love”. The song likewise dominated Youtube as it became the fastest Korean audio to surpass 10 million streams on Youtube making it trend on Youtube worldwide.
On December 24, Jimin surprised the fans with an early Holidays gift through a very cheerful song called “Christmas Love”, officially released for free on the music-sharing platform SoundCloud and on the world’s largest video sharing site, Youtube.
Just after one day, Christmas Love by Jimin has surpassed 2 million plays and 210,000 likes on SoundCloud.
On December 25, according to SoundCloud’s official charts, Christmas Love ranked #1 on New & Hot categories or the top up and coming tracks on SoundCloud in all music genres and in all countries. Further, Christmas Love ranked #5 on Top 50 charts which ranked the most played tracks on SoundCloud for the week and the song continues to rise on the charts as its streams increase.
Meanwhile, Christmas Love also dominated Youtube. It has surpassed 10 million streams on Youtube on December 25. Jimin set the record with the song as the fastest Korean audio to achieve this.
Earlier, it recorded 9.6 million streams in its first 24 hours on Youtube making the record as the most streamed Korean audio performed by a solo male Korean artist on Youtube in 24 hours.
Undoubtedly, the whole world appreciated Jimin’s music and his message through Christmas Love. Christmas Love trended No. 1 worldwide on Youtube’s music category and No. 3 on music videos all category.
On December 25, Christmas Love trended in 71 countries and regions in the Music category and in 19 countries and regions in all category including South Korea, USA, Japan, India, UK and Canada.
And what’s even more jaw dropping is that Jimin dropped this song out of nowhere!! It was a SURPRISE!! Actually jimin said ‘Don’t expect something this year but the next one’ Completely unpromoted. He only tweeted the link of the song lol the next thing we knew was that he was topping souncloud charts and trending #1 on youtube and korean shows were already using his song as background music...not to mention these holidays everyone is busy but still never too busy to miss the chance to listen to the it boy’s new song.
