BoA donates a portion of her ‘BETTER’ album sales to UNICEF’s ‘SMile 4 U’ Campaign

Netizens have discovered that a portion of the sales from BoA's 10th album, 'BETTER,' will be donated to SM Entertainment and UNICEF's 'SMile 4 U' Campaign.

Twitter user @readybutterfly noted that it mentioned the campaign on the back of a booklet included with the album. This was confirmed and expanded upon by user @dailyboakwon.

The ‘SMile 4 U’ Campaign started in November 2015. The campaign focuses on four different social contributions: social service, education and culture, partnership, donation, and sponsoring.

“The SMile 4 U Campaign intends to support children in Asian regions to receive music education, and the target areas include Hanoi, Da Nang, and Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dien Bein in Vietnam.”

In addition, SM Culture & Content, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, recently announced CELEBRAND, a brand to produce and sell goods made in collaboration with SM artists, with BoA being the first.

The idol took to Instagram to celebrate the release of her scarf called Little Bird, the same name of the self-produced track in partnership with VOGUE Korea’s Hope Project with proceeds donated to help children in need.

AMMM if u mean by plastic u mean BY ONE OF THE BEST KPOP IDOLS IN HISTORY ,

in August 25, 2000, when she was thirteen-year-old in South Korean BoA made her debut with the album 'ID; Peace B'. Neither the singer nor her label, SM Entertainment, could have predicted the success that would follow this release. BoA would go on to change the face of K-pop and put the industry on the global map in a way that had never been done before.

She began her Japanese music career singing in the Avex-owned club Velfarre before debuting with the 2002 album, 'Listen to My Heart'. The album became the first album by a Korean artiste to top the Oricon charts, opening the door for future K-pop artistes hoping to make an impact outside of the local market. Following this, BoA went on to rekindle her Korean music career with her 2002 album 'No. 1' which was one of the best-selling records of the year, before returning to the Japanese industry with 2003's 'Valenti', which became her best-selling album at the time.
AND LOOK HOW NICE SHES BEING she's donating half her promotions to

SMile 4 U . The campaign focuses on four different social contributions: social service, education and culture, partnership, donation, and sponsoring.

BoA is perfect in every way! Not only is she an amazing singer and dancer, she's also an amazing person who cares about other people! Without her, SM wouldn't have existed at all and we wouldn't have had SNSD, EXO, Red Velvet, f(x), Super Junior, SHINee, and more!
