A mixture of former and currently promoting idol stars will be working together for a brand new K-Pop music film coming to theaters in 2021, titled 'Idol Recipe'.
Directed by Peter Lee, 'Idol Recipe' tells the story of a fictional co-ed K-Pop group named BELLA. The group undergoes difficult challenges including a management agency with no interest in promoting them, a problematic, manager, as well as friction between the group's members. However, in the end, the team overcomes all odds and find success.
The lead cast of 'Idol Recipe' will include former Dal Shabet member Woohee, former B.A.P member Jongup, JBJ95 member Takada Kenta, ELRIS's Kim So Hee, Noir's Yoo Ho Yeon, and former SONAMOO member Nahyun. First, Woohee returns as a mature idol-turned-actress by playing the role of BELLA's producer Kelly, while JBJ95's Takada Kenta takes on the role of BELLA's main dancer Reddy. Former SONAMOO member Nahyun takes on BELLA's female visual Jenia, while former B.A.P member Jongup plays the role of a producer and Jenia's boyfriend. Finally, Noir's Yoo Ho Yeon plays the role of BELLA's leader Doyoung, and ELRIS's Kim So Hee joins in as BELLA's main vocal, Jian.
