SNS King BTS V sets multiple records with his latest tweet

On 16th August, BTS' V flaunted his new hairstyle as he posted 2 mirror selfies on Twitter wearing a gray jacket embroidered with flowers reminiscent of black roses. With his extreme heavenly visuals, V garnered a lot of attention and explosive reaction from netizens, media and locals, and even broke a number of Twitter records.

Following records have been set by V with his viral tweet :

1) V became the fastest Korean solo artist to reach 1 million likes on Twitter (within just 1 hour and 29 minutes).

2) V has also become the fastest artist in the world to reach 2 million likes on Twitter in a span of 9 hours and 52 minutes, breaking the record of Harry Styles (11 hours 30 minutes) from One Direction.

3) V's latest tweet also became the fastest tweet by an artist in Twitter History to achieve 1 million retweets (in just 23 hours and 9 minutes).

In addition, many locals and non-kpop fans went crazy over V's selfies, including singer Zayn Malik's biggest fanbases and skin care brand Sunday Riley.
