IU become to the artist with most roof-hits on Melon history surpassing BIGBANG's record

IU continues to set new records with her last song.On May 6 at 6 p.m. KST, IU released her new single "Eight" produced by and featuring BTS’s Suga. The song received great love both worldwide and nationally.
She set a new record in the history of MelOn which is the biggest Koreanmusic site. She reached 234 total roof-hits on Melon at 1 a.m. KST on 6th May.Then, she is now the artist with most roof-hits on MelOn history, surpassing BIGBANG's record (233).
Currently "Eight" has achieved it's 20th roof-hit on MelOn by 8 p.m on 7th May. She surpassed 247 total roof-hits on Melon.
