Kim Chung Ha dedicates her award to her dance team and explains how she wish people would call dancers just as "dancers" and not use the word "back-up"
At the 2020 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards, the soloist Kim Chung Ha won“The Hot performance of this year” with her successful song "Gotta Go".
In her acceptance speech, she especially credited her dance team, with whom she has a very caring and close friendship.

"Hello, I'm Chung Ha. Honestly, I'm very thankful for this award, but this is not the first time I received it. There were people I was unable to mention in my speech last time, so I'd like to talk about them now. Firstly, as I don't create my performances alone, I'd like to give the highest praise to Rian unnie who's sitting right there; she's my choreographer. Thank you so so much. Next, to my dance team. They're not here, but I believe they're watching. I'm thankful to each and every one of you. I dedicate this award to all of you. I hope that some day, we see and refer to dancers simply as "dancers" or "artists", and not use the word "back-up".
Happy new year everyone! I'll work harder! Thank you!"

Chungha and her dancers have the best and cutest relationship. She really sees them as equals and friends and really acknowledges the work they put in to help her shine. They all deserve the award!
